Movies or music videos that are marked as "Download-To-Own" are available for single purchase. This means you can buy a permanent copy of the file that will give you unlimited viewings of the movie or music video on the computer that you downloaded it to

Our VOD content are 1.5 Mega bit WMV files. The WMV format offers superior DVD-like video quality with surround sound (if available), along with a license. The license for this file allows unlimited playback of the file on the PC you are currently using.

The VOD content files are protected files. To view these files you should buy a license to watch the file. If you do not buy a license then you can not enjoy the VOD file that you downloaded, it will not play. If you buy a license, it will be transparently saved on your computer so that you can enjoy your VOD file.

To start downloading, right click on the links below and click "Save target as". But you will have to buy licenses to play this protected file that you downloaded on your computer.

This allows Windows Media Player 9 to retrieve the license, which decrypts this file and contains information about the usage rights associated with that it.

If you have not purchased a license for this file, then the answer is "yes". To obtain the license file, you must first play the movie or music video while connected to the Internet. This will allow you to purchase the license. After the purchase, Windows Media Player 9 will automatically retrieve the license, which decrypts the file and contains information about the usage rights associated with it.This is only for the first time. Once the file starts playing, the license has been downloaded to your computer and you will no longer need the Internet connection.

No. Our VOD content files are not compatible with any Mac OS because these files require a Digital Rights Management (DRM) software which is not compatible with the Macintosh operating system.

Windows Media Player version 9.0 or newer is compatible with the Digital Rights Management(DRM) encrypted files sold at Alamelphan.com. Media Player is a free download here. Other players might not be compatible and might not play your movie or music video files satisfactorily.

This has to do with the individualization settings for your Windows Media Player. It is a critical component for the player to be able to decrypt the protected content offer by Alamelphan.com. It just happens the first time you play a protected content. All you have to do is just click "OK" and wait for a few seconds till your player gets "individualized".
